		<description><![CDATA[So you got stuck living on the Vern, and you&#8217;re this close to trading your body for a room on Foggy. As a response, I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is it&#8217;s not all bad. The bad news is that, well, you&#8217;re still on the Vern. 1. The Food First off, I&#8217;m not comparing the array of non-campus sponsored dining venues on Foggy Bottom with the significantly smaller list of easily accessible options in the Mount Vernon campus area. You might think that&#8217;s something important that I should take into consideration, but the Vern houses mostly freshmen, and freshmen have Dining Dollars in addition to their Colonial Cash that they have to spend at campus venues. For Fobobos (the collective noun for those students who live on the Foggy Bottom campus that I just created), this means J-Street. And let&#8217;s be honest, while students at GWU are known for complaining and exaggerating, J-Street really is nearly as bad as everyone says it is. As someone with 1 month left in their freshmen year, I&#8217;ve eaten there maybe 3 or 4 times, and every time I regret it. Auntie Anne&#8217;s is the glorious exception to [...]]]></description>
